I've seen a handful of posts here about attainable dates of 1978 for serial numbers beginning in 16**** but I lately picked up a an outdated Pistol pack in the first brown Dan Wesson case With all the manufacturing unit unattractive yellow masking above the foam. Mine would be the full lug model 357 and my serial variety starts off off with 136***
